The Wellness Rooted in Connection (WRC) Project is an innovative four-year initiative designed to enhance community well-being in Transylvania County through a comprehensive approach. By focusing on health equity, mental health awareness, social connectivity, and food security, the project aims to build an inclusive health support system, increase access to nutritious food, and improve economic stability. Through community workshops, resilience programs, volunteer activities, and multi-sectoral partnerships, WRC will foster a healthier, more connected, and resilient community, addressing the unique needs of rural, minority, and aging populations. This dynamic plan promises to transform the county into a place everyone can thrive.
