Building partnerships that last

On October 23, nonprofit, civic, and community leaders from across Transylvania County spent a morning at the Mary C. Jenkins Community & Cultural Center on what makes partnerships actually work. Pisgah Health Foundation hosted the Collaboration Lab in partnership with Dogwood Health Trust, and Jerry Kenney of Dogwood opened with a conversation about how collaboration takes shape across the region.

Sarah Hankey of SparkPoint and Keagan Monteith of FWRD Transylvania shared two collaborations from close to home: Wellness Rooted in Connection and Community Connectors. Then everyone got to work at the tables.
